What do you think of the current real estate market?

The philosphy of the realtors hanging on and still fighting the ever struggling real estate market say go back to the old ways of doing business.
It is once again necessary to meet, brain storm and share your properties currently for sale. It is a work together team effort to get properties sold in this marketplace.
For those sellers that have come to the realization that market values have plummeted and understand the equity in their home has decreased, they are the ones pricing their home very competitively and they are the ones selling.
Ever wonder if Zillow.com is accurate or not? Some appraisers will tell us that they go to Zillow.com to "compare" or start their appraising process on your home, it does not become the final value determination, but they are saying more and more, it is very very close to today's values.
Do you have a Re-Finance Appraisal?? It will not work in determining a "selling value" for your home, all it determines is how much the bank will lend you and sometimes they lend you too much which is why some of you are tapped and have no equity to begin with. Just beware and make smart choices and decisions.

The real estate market is very active and selling contrary to the media articles. It may not be selling at the rate most of us seasoned agents are used to, but it too shall recover.
